Share Your Style #211

Welcome to week #210 of Share Your Style and I am
Barbara Chapman your host. School is out for summer and it’s vacation time. Can you believe it’s June already??

With the summer fast upon us, and everyone trying to get projects done before the dog-days come, I have a ton of posts to share with you today! So many were so good!!!

Here is what I shared this week…

This was my first big project here at our new home and the Rock Wall Planter is officially done and ready for planting!  I seriously appreciate any help you can give in promoting this post as it was quite a bit of work all around. Thank you!

I have been sick too for a few days with a flu bug but on Monday I cleaned out our shed and organized it, helped Mr. Ethereal clean and put up some camping gear into the attic over the garage this past weekend (in the 90 degree heat + humidity), and have been organizing in the Craft/Sewing room. It’s coming together!
Now let’s get to this week’s wonderful features!

We are back in the garden with Debbie from Debbie-Dabble visiting her neighbor’s gardens. This hillside is spectacular! Stop over and see what’s blooming out her way in a post named More Spring Blooms and a Surprise.

Rachelle over at My Hubbard Home shares some things she has learned along the way to help us all to successfully prevent pests and disease when growing fruit trees. June is so synonymous with peaches, isn’t it? Delicious!

Terracotta Pots With French Country Style

Marie at The Interior Frugalista shared her post called Terracotta Pots Get French Country Style. Marie shares a complete tutorial on whitewashing AND how to add this sweet French style bird in a wreath!

Rachelle also shared this wonderful tutorial post about Decoupaged Picture with Wrapping Paper which I thought you’d like so I am sharing this post, too.

From paper to stone, Mary who writes The Boondocks Blog shared some gorgeous old stone buildings from Greece ~ some restored, others not. If walls could talk what would these time capsules tell us?

Penny of Penny’s Vintage Home is back with her home and garden decorated for summer in whites and patriotic decor ~ so love her she-shed and this faux fireplace!

Back inside, Debra from Common Ground shares her latest thriftshop finds including some copper she found. Love this collection of whites, creams to browns…
🙂

Jocelyn from Just a Little Southern Hospitality shared her sweet porch set for a holiday meal this past Memorial Day. Perfect for copying for our upcoming 4th of July!

And this little piggy was too cute to leave out… From over at Ann‘s of Apple Street Cottage. A post sharing her many porcine creatures.

;0)

Honorable Mentions ~ I tried to pull in a photo for you of these next three but it just didn’t work (the hazards of securing sites is sometimes photos can’t be brought over).

Nevertheless, I want to share Beth’s home above the Pacific Ocean and her beautifully set summer tablescape with lovely sea shell dishes, an enormous clam serving piece and spectacular views of the water… Do stop by and say hello, won’t you? Summer at it’s best!

Tanya over at Mom’s Small Victories shared some amazing gluten/dairy/refined-sugar-free recipes to help anyone with an auto-immune disease.

And for the seamstress… Stephanie at The Style Safari shared her collection of 6 French Inspired Clothes with 10 Different Looks. Stephanie’s blue and white French toile dress is sexy and adorable!!!

If you’ve ever been featured here at Share Your Style
Here is a button for you to share. Please feel free to copy it to your site and your featured posts, thank you!

For anyone new to copying someone else’s photos that you have permission to share: just start from one side and slowly move to the photo’s other edge. This will darken/highlight the photo (watch for miscellaneous things also trying to be “grabbed.”) and then just “control-C” and take to your post and edit it in. Easy once you’ve done it a couple of times!

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week and congratulations to everyone who is featured this week! Please stop by and let everyone know how you like their posts. And if you’d subscribe to my blog and share the party it would be greatly appreciated. A backlink would be lovely, too.   🙂

Now onto today’s party!

  5. Thank you so much, Sandra! Luckily I've had some time to recoup from building that rock wall (about 2 weeks, I think.) I'm out turning dirt and did get one rose bush in yesterday (6/5) so we are moving along!Enjoy your weekend,Barb 🙂
